FOOD AND PROCESSING INDUSTRIES MANUFACTURERS RAISED PRICES BY 16%

Food and processing industry price index. The producer price index of industrial goods in March to February 2021 amounted to 103.6%. All manufactured goods in a pair Q1 2021/2020 rose in price by 10.8%.

The prices of food producers in the March / February 2021 pair increased by 1.8%, in dynamics against March 2020 - by 15.8%, in the first quarter of 2021 - by 4.7%.

In the beverage industry, manufacturers reduced prices in March by February 2021 by 0.2%. In dynamics, by March 2020, prices have increased by 2.8%. During the first quarter of 2021, prices fluctuated around zero, prices increased by 0.3%.

Prices for products of manufacturers of tobacco products in March to February 2021 decreased by 2%, in dynamics by March 2020 by 6.7%, in the first quarter of 2021 prices of tobacco producers fell by 5%.

Couple I quarter 2021/2020 food and beverage prices rose 14%, beverage manufacturers 3.1%, and tobacco prices declined 3.4%. @ agrorisk
